Welcome to Golf Tours Iceland, a brand operated by Nord Travel ehf. Nord Travel ehf. is a fully licensed Icelandic travel agency, registered in Iceland with VAT number 155170, ID number 511124-1820 and authorized by the Icelandic Tourist Board under license number 2025-005.
By booking a tour with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. The customer making the booking accepts these conditions on behalf of all members who are travelling together. These terms and conditions may be amended from time to time and apply to all of our services.
1. Rates
1.1. Please note that all prices for the services provided by Golf Tours Iceland are in Icelandic Krona (ISK). Golf Tours Iceland is not responsible for currency fluctuations and additional fees outside its control that may be applied, such as bank transfer fees and credit card fees.
1.2. All prices shown on our website include value-added tax and are based on current prices. Golf Tours Iceland reserves the right to alter or change already published prices on the website without prior notice.
2. Extras & Rental Gear
2.1. Extras and rental gear can be added upon booking your tour as well as afterward, provided that this is done no later than 72 hours before your tour departure date. If you have already made a reservation with us and would like to add any extras and/or rental gear to your reservation, you can do so by contacting our customer care team.
2.2. All extras and rental gear reservations fall under the same cancellation terms as the tour purchased.
3. Changes to Itinerary
3.1. Golf Tours Iceland reserves the right to modify itineraries due to weather conditions, road closures, or other factors beyond our control.
3.2. Any significant changes will be communicated as soon as possible, and alternative arrangements will be made where feasible. You are responsible for providing Golf Tours Iceland with the correct contact information and related details so that we can keep you informed in the event of changes made to the services booked.
3.3 Golf Tours Iceland is not responsible for expenses and/or other related costs due to factors outside of its control, such as flight delays, changes and/or cancellations, injuries, weather, war, natural disasters, and/or other unforeseeable matters.
4. Travel Insurance
4.1. We strongly recommend that all travelers purchase travel insurance covering trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and personal belongings.
5. Cancellation Policy
5.1. Day tours can be canceled up to 48 hours before the scheduled departure for a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of departure are non-refundable.
5.2. Multi-day tours can be canceled up to 72 hours before the scheduled departure for a full refund. Cancellations made within 72 hours of departure are non-refundable.
5.3. Any additional services, such as rental gear or extra activities, follow the same cancellation terms as the tour booked.
6. Assumed Risk & Outdoor Activities
6.1. Guests/Clients are advised that all activities are undertaken entirely at their own risk and that they must behave in a fit and proper manner at all times in accordance with Golf Tours Iceland or its partners’ guidelines. They must take proper responsibility for their own safety. All adventure tours and outdoor activities carry inherent risks, and Golf Tours Iceland or its partners do not assume any responsibility for accidents caused by customers or traced to their own actions or factors outside human control (Force Majeure). By purchasing a trip, you agree to these conditions, understand their implications, and accept responsibility for your participation.
6.2. Our guides reserve the right to refuse participation to any customer who they believe will not be able to complete the tour due to physical condition, injury, or illness. In such cases, full cancellation charges apply.
6.3. Golf Tours Iceland cannot be held responsible for any loss, damage, accident, injury, sickness, schedule change, or other factors due to weather, strikes, natural disasters, or any other cause beyond our control. We act in good faith and cannot be held responsible for defaults or delays of organizations that are not part of our company, such as individual agencies, hotels, other tour operators, airlines, guides, restaurants, or other service providers.
6.4. In the case of any changes to flights (domestic and international), the passenger is responsible for any additional costs incurred as a result (e.g., additional hotel nights, meals, transfers, etc.).
7. Conduct and Responsibilities
7.1. Travelers are expected to follow all safety instructions provided by guides.
7.2. Any behavior that disrupts the tour or endangers others may result in removal from the tour without a refund.
7.3. Travelers are responsible for any damage they cause to property or equipment during the tour.
8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
8.1. These Terms & Conditions are governed by Icelandic law.
8.2. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this agreement shall be exclusively submitted to and resolved by the District Court of Reykjavík.
