Experience Iceland through golf on a nine-day self-drive journey combining five distinctive courses with some of the country’s most remarkable natural sights. Play beside the ocean, among lava fields and beneath mountains, while exploring the Golden Circle, South Coast, glaciers and the volcanic Westman Islands.

With your rental car, accommodation, golf and selected experiences arranged in advance, you can enjoy the freedom of the road while we take care of the details.

  1. Day 1

    Arrival in Iceland

    Collect your rental car at Keflavík International Airport and drive to Reykjavík. Settle into your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your own pace.

  2. Day 2

    Brautarholt Golf & Hvammsvík Hot Springs

    Begin your golf journey at Brautarholt, a spectacular coastal course surrounded by ocean and mountain views. After your round, continue around Hvalfjörður to Hvammsvík Hot Springs for a relaxing soak beside the fjord before returning to Reykjavík.

  3. Day 3

    Oddur Golf & Reykjavík

    Play a round at Oddur Golf Club, set among lava fields, woodland and rolling terrain just outside Reykjavík. Afterwards, return to the city and enjoy a free afternoon and evening to explore Reykjavík at your own pace.

  4. Day 4

    The Golden Circle

    Explore Iceland’s famous Golden Circle, visiting Þingvellir National Park, the geothermal area at Geysir and Gullfoss waterfall. Continue into South Iceland at the end of the day, ready for the next stage of your journey.

  5. Day 5

    Kiðjaberg Golf & the South Coast

    Play Kiðjaberg Golf Course in the peaceful countryside beside the Hvítá River. After your round, continue along Iceland’s South Coast, stopping at Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss waterfalls and travelling through dramatic coastal landscapes.

  6. Day 6

    Glacier Lagoon & Glacier Adventure

    Continue east to Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, where icebergs drift beneath the surrounding glaciers, and walk along nearby Diamond Beach. The day also includes a guided glacier experience before returning west along the South Coast.

  7. Day 7

    Westman Islands Golf

    Take the ferry to the Westman Islands and explore Heimaey’s extraordinary volcanic landscape. Spend time discovering the island before playing a round at Vestmannaeyjar Golf Club, one of Iceland’s most spectacularly situated courses, surrounded by sea cliffs and volcanic formations.

  8. Day 8

    Hella Golf & Return to Reykjavík

    Take the ferry back to the mainland and continue to Hella Golf Course for your final round. Enjoy wide-open views towards the surrounding mountains and volcanoes before driving back to Reykjavík for your final evening.

    Departure

    Enjoy a relaxed final morning before driving to Keflavík International Airport, returning your rental car and departing Iceland.

Begin in Reykjavík with golf at Brautarholt and Oddur before travelling through the Golden Circle and into South Iceland. Continue along the South Coast towards the glaciers and Jökulsárlón, then visit the volcanic Westman Islands before returning to the mainland for your final round at Hella and finishing the journey back in Reykjavík.

The starting price is per person, based on two travellers sharing a room and rental car. The package includes eight hotel nights, five rounds of golf, rental car, selected experiences and the Westman Islands ferry. Meals are not included unless otherwise stated.

What rental car is included?

A suitable rental car is included for the full trip, with unlimited kilometres and insurance. The vehicle category can be adjusted depending on the number of travellers and your preferences.

How much driving is involved?

This is a self-drive road trip combining Reykjavík with the Golden Circle, South Coast and Westman Islands. Some days involve longer drives, but the route is planned around sightseeing, golf and overnight stops along the way.

Are the travel dates and tee times fixed?

No. This is a suggested itinerary. Tee times, accommodation, ferry crossings and activities are arranged around your travel dates and confirmed in your final itinerary.

Are meals and golf equipment included?

Meals and golf equipment are not included unless specifically stated. Golf club rental can be arranged at most courses if required.
