Itinerary
Mosfellsbær Golf Club
Start your day at the scenic 18-hole Mosfellsbær Golf Club, just outside Reykjavík. The course features well-maintained greens and beautiful views. If there are non-golfers in the group, they can either be picked up later from the hotel or enjoy a visit to the Sky Lagoon.
Thingvellir
Our first stop after the golf is Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where Iceland’s first parliament was founded in 930 AD. The park offers stunning landscapes, located in a rift valley between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates.
Geysir
We continue our journey to Geysir, the famous geothermal area that gave all geysers their name. Here, you can witness Strokkur, Iceland’s most active erupting hot spring, which erupts every 5 to 10 minutes.
Gullfoss Waterfall
Next, we head to Gullfoss waterfall before returning to Reykjavík. Gullfoss is one of Iceland’s most powerful waterfalls, cascading in two dramatic tiers into a rugged canyon, often creating a shimmering rainbow above.
